Cultivate Joy
This April, we invite you to partner with us in Cultivating Joy at Emmaus House by helping us build our much-needed Administration Building. Thanks to your past generosity, we’ve already secured $43,883 in reserves to kickstart this project. Now, we need your support to raise the remaining $90,000 and bring this vision to life. Together, we can create a space where healing, growth, and community will thrive.

Kiltive Jwa (Creole) / Cultivate Joy (English) We began planning for 2025, we knew we needed to build upon the hope we had cultivated. We were drawn to Paul’s words in Romans 15:13 which say,
“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
In 2024 God planted in us a confident hope. Now we want to take that hope and CULTIVATE JOY all around us!
Throughout the year, we want to plant seeds of joy in the lives of those we serve and provide them with quality programs and spaces that will allow their joy to grow and flourish. One specific way we want to do this is by completing the final building on our campus. The Administration Building has been on our minds and in our hearts for years. As we continue to grow, the need for designated office spaces and confidential meeting areas is necessary now more than ever.
“Having a work environment that is organized, secure, and where we can be productive will give the staff joy,” he said. “Having a place where our youth can focus on their mental health will give them joy. This building will give all of us security and healing and it will be the center of our intelligence.”
